I tried searching the Apple store but I couldn't find anything under "anti-virus"
My Mac has Macros, what anti-virus for mac would be good??antispam
macros are often used by windows folk!
do not run them, unless you really trust your professor!
word asks nicely if you want to run them. JUST SAY NO.
it's not a virus, (probably)... the prof may be demoing macros in word!

You don't need an anti-virus program.
I honestly wouldn't worry about antivirus for Mac as its a unix based os and virus' for Unix are rare.
With a Mac you don't really have to worry about viruses. At least not yet.
What do you mean by Macros? Like you downloaded stuff, then clicked on them despite the warnings the OS gave and now your system is behaving strangely?
1. Get your personal files off the machine and reinstall the OS.
2. Create a second user with least privileges and use that account when you use your computer.
3. Stop downloading and clicking on things you don't know anything about.
Antivirus software is not necessary on a Mac. that kind of software is required on poorly designed operating systems like windows.
