Cannot open a AVG Free anti virus?

I have taking off all my anti virus firewall from the add / remove programmes etc. I have downloaded AVG free it has downloaded ok all files are stored on my pc, but when i try to open it it opens for 10 sec then disappears again, this is happenening every time i try to open it. also when i try to get on to their web site it wont open www.grisoft.com it comes up with Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. I have done a Diagnose Connection Problems this has also not helped me.i have no problems getting onto any other web site . I have tried internet options security trusted sites.Please help

try uninstalling, then try and re download, may help.
