Yes and No, AVG is free (even though i use it),but Norton Anti-Virus is a popular name brand, so i would rather go with Norton Anti-Virus 2006. If you dont want to spend any money stick with AVG.

Also Norton Anti-Virus has lots more protection things in it,not like AVG.
I like AVG.Its a free software.It can find almost all virus.
