Most antivirus will update their definitions daily, while spyware removal usually update weekly

so If you want to be on the safe side then update daily if possible, or at least every 3 days

You have to update Kaspersky every hours.
Set it up to run a live update frpm the options menu.
Not heard of 'kaspersky anti-virus', but I update mine every day anyway.

Hi, you have the best anti-virus on the market. They win more awards than all the other's put together. I've used it for years and never had a virus.You can set it to update automatically. Left click on the icon in the toolbar near the clock, then click on update automatically.

Kaspersky is incredible! They update their virus definitions, to detect new threats, every 1 to 2 hours. Best in the anti-malware business.
