i have removed the anti- virus NOD 32 using add/remove programs..... but few files still remain. i have tried deleting them but it say ''access denied'', either file is in use or it's write protected; even though the anti-virus is not in use............ what to do?

Download CCleaner and run the cleaner function and also the issues function. You may have to clean the issues several times.

This does not require a reinstall...you would lose everything you don't have backed up; that is extreme and unnecessary.

there is a program called UNLOCKER. Give a Google search and download it v1.5. Most of the folders are locked by the Explorer process that's why u can't delete them. What's Unlocker do? Well after u install it, when u want to delete a folder the same message appears ''cannot delete blah blah'' after this message unlocker activates in a window and shows u the process which blocks the folder from being deleted. Then u have a button that can unblock the process and delete the folder. Give it a try, u will thank me someday. Good luck! and don't forget...give a google search!
reload the ststem back to factory level 2 to 5 times,if you have the recovery disc format the f

hard drive a few times, then proceed with your normal install of your programs including the windows update
first u jst repair in safe mode its cant work so u jst re-install xp

den it may b work well
I suggest you try deleting the files during safe mode.

Safe Mode:-

Press F8 after you have started you PC but before the Windows start loading.

Choose Safe Mode.

If the above still fails (I think it shouldn't) try installing the anti-virus again and uninstall(Unwise) it properly. Then delete the remaining files.
To remove file you will have to formate C drive an reload the programme.
