I already have anti-virus protection and their scan indicates I have no viruses. When I opened the Tesla program I could not figure out a way to get rid of them! Help!

I had a Tesla on my wallpaper and I had Norton and anti-spyware programs. I went to Symantec Technical assistance, It cost me $69 but after a two or three hour diagnosis and cleansing, my computer was clean again.
