What is the best free anti virus to use/?

Does it hurt if i have more than one anti virus program.

AVG gets great reviews. You should never use two anti-virus programs at the same time.

Think of it like having two goalies trying to protect a single soccer net -- they are going to get in each others way and some balls will get through. ;o)

I have been using AVG FREE for almost a year, along with ZONE ALARM FREE, and I have had no viruses or problems since.

I highly recommend this FREE combination of antivirus and internet security for safe web use. And a big plus is that they use very little system resources. Unlike the dreaded Norton!
Avg is good but it is best not to use a free anti-virus because most don't update with the lastest viruses and worms coming out. Best to purchase some software or get a subscription. I recommend Mcafee because it checks for viruses and it also checks for spyware. A year is like $40+ dollars and to renew is 19.95 for the next year.

It really is best not to have more than one anti-virus also. Keep just one because there will be some issues with one if you run the other. They will often conflict with each other.
i Got norton antivirus 05

for free and it works just great

I know that if you have more than one antivirus

their settings may confuse eachother

plus I dont think the pc will allow you to

have more than one antivirus

AVG and i wouldn't.
AVAST!

pretty good stuff, I use it at home.

More than 1 is bad. because it conflicts with eachother. It's like having two wives haha.. it's ok to go watch the game at ur buddy's house with one wife..but the other says you gotta stay home. Same ordeal.
AVG is the best free one.
