Depending on the version of the (NAV) presuming Norton Anti-Virus you have there is sometimes a public and a private key remaining after in installation this is usually the case if it was a version that had the ability to work on a network...

Once you un-installed the program it looks to have changed the permissions on it.

I would download CCleaner (short for Crap Cleaner) http://www.ccleaner.com/download/

Which cleans up you registry by removing unused files from your registry that should be able to get the NAV key out of the registry because the NAV is no longer installed the key has no reference left. (CCleaner also removes old temp files and temp internet files, it has a nice GUI that lets you select what you want to remove and shows you all the files it finds before it actually get rid of them)

Then download AVG Anti Virus from Grisoft if you copy this link into the address bar you can get straight to the page to download it. at this link http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1

AVG would have to be the best free anti-virus program on the Internet, they keep in constantly updated and it works very well they make a very good free version as they want people to like the free one so much they buy the proper version for the few extra features (That home users don't really need like network scans etc)
